These stainless steels are not so popular that it may be difficult for you to get them in small lots. However we offer these materials made to your order. These stainless steels for drawing contain low C and high Ni, so the hardness of annealed ones is relatively low and the work-hardening is small. Moreover, they are superior to “Corrosion resistance of grain-boundary.” They are non-magnetic in condition of solution-treatment, but it gains weak magnetic after working.

| BA finish | Since it is to apply bright annealing after cold rolling, materials are the softest and suitable for complex processing |
| Skin pass finish(2B finish) | Light rolling after annealing. Gives materials a sheen and flat surface. The product can be hardened by rolling, but the workability is same as for the BA finish. Also, it can prevent materials from getting stretcher strain. |
| Dull finish(2D finish) | Product is rolled to roughen the surface, so the surface has no sheen. |
| No.4 polishing finish(No.400 polishing finish) | Grinding with a buffer is performed until the materials’ surface becomes like #400 sandpaper. Grinding on one side or both sides is possible. The workability is almost the same as for the BA finish. |
| No.7 polishing finish(quasi-mirror plane polishing finish) | This finish uses a grinder and a fine buffer. Although the material’s workability is the same as the No.4 grinding finish material, it has a finer sheen and smoother surface. |
| HL finish(Hair line finish) | Depending on the future usage demand, we select a suitable grinder. It makes straight lines on the material’s surface. |
| Roll-up finish | Rolling is stronger than for skin pass finishing, so the material’s brightness and smoothness are improved.Also, depending on the roll-up level control, additional strength can be achieved. But for complex processings,like decreasing elongation, strengthening is impossible.SUS301, 304, 631, etc. are divided into 1/4H, 1/2H, 3/4H, H and so on. |

Features
- It has good resistance to corrosion and crevice corrosion, because it contains high amount of Cr, Mo, and N.
- It has same corrosion resistance as UNS S 31254(AVESTA 254 SMO).
- The resistance is better than that of SUS317J1L or SUS329J4L.
- It is Austenitic system, so the ductility, workability and weldability are good.
